Flux, 2019. Organza and monofilament fishing net. Las Estacas, Morelos, Mexico. 87m(Long) X 7m(Wide) X 4m(High)

Inspired by the colors and variations of the rainbow agate but also by the fluctuation of energy, Flux resembles a colorful river representing the changing energy and constant interaction with the elements of the environment. The color strips of the work combine their colors and transparencies in a loose fabric that extends throughout the piece. Flux floats over space creating undulating volumes in the landscape, periodically changing its shape by encountering the surrounding air currents and reminding us that the only constant law is energy in its perpetual flow.
